Factor \(a^2+2ab+b^2-c^2\).
First recognise the square \((a+b)^2\).
We have \(a^2+2ab+b^2-c^2=(a+b)^2-c^2\).
This is a difference of squares: \((a+b-c)(a+b+c)\).
The main skill is turning three terms into one square.
