Two parallel lines are cut by a transversal. One interior angle is \(117^\circ\). Find the alternate interior angle with it and the same-side interior angle with it.
Alternate interior angles are equal, and same-side interior angles sum to \(180^\circ\).
The alternate interior angle is \(117^\circ\). The same-side interior angle is \(180^\circ-117^\circ=63^\circ\).
You may ask the student to label all eight angles in the diagram.
