In parallelogram \(ABCD\), suppose \(AB=BC\). Prove that \(ABCD\) is a rhombus.
Opposite sides of a parallelogram are equal.
In a parallelogram, \(AB=CD\) and \(BC=AD\). By condition \(AB=BC\). Hence \(AB=BC=CD=AD\). All sides are equal, so \(ABCD\) is a rhombus.
